To remove this barrier, Protect Our Winters (POW) France has developed My Event Impact, a free and accessible online tool. By providing a quick assessment and clear avenues for improvement, the initiative aims to mainstream best practices across the industry. This project, which promotes a sustainable approach without complexity, is nominated in the Environmental Initiative of the Year category at the Trail Running Awards.

My Event Impact stems from the observation that the majority of organizers—particularly those managing small or medium-sized events—lack the resources required to conduct comprehensive impact assessments. POW France's tool aims to provide this essential first step to encourage the adoption of more responsible practices.
The evaluation is structured around ten key pillars (transport, waste, energy, biodiversity, solidarity & inclusion, etc.) and relies on a simplified declarative analysis. The objective is to provide an accessible entry point to sustainability, regardless of the size or purpose of the event.
